This is actually the reverse of a pothole. New home construction at 119 or 125 W Oak Ave, they had to go across the road for utilities. When they repaved, they paved too high, and effectively have now created a speed bump. The contractor needs to lower the new paving to be closer to the height of the road. I understand the pavement and subgrade will compress some over time, but they have made this repair too high, and it will always be a speed bump. Please require the contractor to adjust this pavement repair to a lower height.

The traffic light at Elm and S. Main, at least for the last 3 days, has been changing and stopping traffic on S. Main street 10 seconds after it turns green, regardless of whether a car is on Elm or not.

There are 3 bolts sticking out of the concrete in this spot (I'm assuming where a statue or bench was removed). Nothing marks them or cordones off the area, and I nearly ran into them in my flip flops. Worries someone will get seriously hurt walking right into them

The street parking on the north side of the street here is completely covered with pine straw and other tree/lead debris. I'm not sure anyone could use the parking if they wanted to.

Hi, I reported this broken curb originally on 1/14/20. The repair was delayed to allow construction to finish at the Planet Fitness on Wrigley

The issue was reported closed in 8/26/20 becasue a work order to repair it was created. However, the curb repair has not been completed as of today 2/7/21.

The construction traffic from the project on Wrigley left mud all over Wallridge, Harris, Capital Blvd, and Purnell on Saturday. There were piles of mud in the left turn lanes on Harris at the intersection with Capital Blvd, and mud tire trails on every road. Also, the retention pond for Richkand Creek Elementary has been colored with red clay for the last month or two because of the construction run-off from that site.

The roundabout at Wallridge and Wrigley has been damaged last week either on Thursday or Wenesday. It seems likely that the damage is from a low boy trailer or such going to the jobsite on Wrigley, as the tracks clearly exit heading North out of the roundabout.
  • W. Oak Ave Wake Forest, North Carolina - Wake Forest

The new speed limit signs on W. Oak Ave have created a section of road that has both a 35 MPH zone and a 25 MPH zone on the same section of road.

Traffic heading east into town is at 35 MPH from approx. Joyner Bluff up to N. Wingate.

In the same section, heading west towards Harris, from N. Wingate to approx. Joyner Bluff the speed limit is 25 MPH.

This is potentially a deadly situation for anyone looking to cross the road, where one side of the road is 10 MPH faster than the other side.

It's actually the opposite of a pothole: there is a raised bump in a road repair directly in front of the Stone Chapel. Since it's a repair, it's possible that it's a temporary fix, but it's a big enough bump that it actually pushes my car towards the center line when I drive that way. It's on the north bound lanes, at the right side of the lane.

Heading east on Oak towards N. Main St., there are (3) potholes in the right side of the road. One of the potholes is growing very deep pretty quickly, and cars have to drive around to avoid it.

There is standing water in the sewer easement on the west side of the creek for several days/a week anytime it rains significantly (back yard of 931 Havisham Ct)

Also, on the sewer easement on the east side of Dunn Creek, water pools, and drains into Dunn Creek and is eroding a new channel on that side. The area stays VERY wet almost all the time, and is a mosquito breeding ground.
