About 2 years ago the front of the Flaherty Farm Decorative stone Frontage to the Neighborhood was hit by Drunk Driver. The stone Frontage Tower and light was destroyed. Ben Coleman was made aware of the situation and tried everything in his power to help get the damage repaired. After 2 years Ben was unable to resolve it. He tried to follow the legal issue with insurance and police reports, but came up with a dead end. The Person driving the car can not be found and and the company that the car was rented from is out of business. So it leaves Flaherty Farm with a vandalized look and no funds to repair. We have no HOA in our neighborhood and are unable to fix the wall or the electricity. I am requesting that the planning board considers funding this 2 year eye sore back to looking like it did 2 years ago. I am very proud to live in Wake Forest and a lot of improvements have come in and around the area. It is something that I feel would improve the overall look of the front out Flaherty Farm and make our Neighborhood not look so unkept or vandalized.
    Sincerely,
