A significant amount of litter regularly accumulates at this location as it is a high-traffic bus stop with no facilities for rubbish disposal. Can the radar speed sign on eastbound Silver St (across the from Faith Church/Doleva Car Wash) be moved so it is in the 30 mph zone closer to the high school? It seems weird to have a sign warning people of the 35 mph speed limit when the speed limit on this section of Silver St. in either direction both east and west is 30mph.

Further it seems weird to increase the speed limit to 35 just where there is a crosswalk and a church at the crest of a hill. Can the 35mph signs be taken down so people think that it is 30mph the entire way? Is there really a need to advertise this separate, brief, speed zone?

A significant amount of trash has been thrown alongside the roadway on the eastbound Mohawk Trail just outside of Friendly's as you approach the rotary on the right-hand side of the road.

when will Passport Parking be enabled? the signs have been up all summer but the app still won't let you use the posted zone numbers to park. the signs should just be taken down at this point until it is actually turned on. a previous issue I submitted asking this same question was resolved with no answer, and yet the signs are still up and the Passport Parking app still does not work for Greenfield. it has been almost 6 months these signs have been up and the program still does not work. they should be taken down at this point.

Please install a speed wagon on North Pleasant St. in the vicinity of Puffton Village to alert southbound drivers of their speed. One was installed closer to the UMass campus last year around Thanksgiving, but it was not put in the right location and did not have much effect. Speeding is most commonly a problem around Puffton, and it is frequently an issue in the morning when everyone is trying to get to class and work at the same time. People do 40-50+ mph down this road that is signed for 35 mph.

Sidewalk at this location is overgrown with plants from yard, preventing people from using the sidewalk and forcing them to walk into the street. It is not fair, and not safe, for the property owner to allow their plants to overtake the sidewalk and prevent people from using the sidewalk.

The yellow bulb on the right-hand set of lights northbound at Elm/Solon/Colrain St. is out.

the street sign for College Drive is missing from the rotary in front of GCC and the broken metal is protruding from the ground.

The crosswalk across Federal St just south of Stanley St. is not lit and has no sign warnings drivers that there is a mid-block crosswalk. Please add a sign making drivers in both directions aware of this crosswalk and also please add street lighting at this crosswalk. It is very dangerous.

The signs announcing the Nash's Mill Rd bridge detour on Colrain St. have been placed directly in front of the speed limit signs in both directions, completely obscuring the speed limit. People regularly speed down Colrain St. Please move the detour signs so they do not block the speed limits.

The sidewalk at this house is impassable due to overgrowth. Wheelchair/Walker and stroller users or anyone who doesn't want to get ticks have to enter the street to pass the sidewalk at this location. this is an ongoing issue. sidewalk was briefly cleared earlier this summer but was left to be overgrown again within a couple weeks.

My recycling was not collected this morning. it was out by 7am. no rejection sticker was left. no cars are blocking the barrels (photo included). this is a regular occurrence that the driver's do not seem to notice my trash. everyone else's in the neighborhood is collected. can you please tell your drivers not to forget #89 West Street. this is ludicrous. I should not have to call to request a pickup every week because your drivers won't bother to come all the way down my street.

This is the fifth week in two months that my trash has not been picked up on the appointed day. I put it out before 7 am with a sticker every week. There is not a car blocking the path to the trash. No rejection notice is left. When I call DPW to complain the next fay, the trash is always picked up. I want to resolve this issue so that my trash is collected properly again, rather than having to request it be collected. When I set my recycling out in the same spot, the recycling drivers never have a problem collecting it.

Today, because my trash was not collected, a critter got into it during the day. So not only was my trash not collected, I came home to bits of it strewn all over the street in front of my house.

As this is the fifth occurrence, I want DPW to come collect the trash as well as the litter that was created due to DPW's failure to collect my trash, and I want a written commitment that my trash will actually be collected. I think it is insane that my trash collection has just suddenly stopped and now I seem to have to request a pickup every week. If that's the case, why not change my pickup day to Tuesday and I'll call you on Monday to remind you to come pick up my trash? That way at least I can know when to set it out so the raccoons don't get into it.

How do I submit a complaint about a utility/roadwork project? Berkshire Gas began doing loud work on West St. at 8 am this morning. They have been marking up the neighborhood with digsafe markings for two weeks, this seems like planned work and not an emergency.

Why are they allowed to do loud work on a weekend morning instead of working during the week and not waking everyone up?

This is the third week in a row my trash has not been collected on the appointed day. My bags are out well before 7am, have stickers, and are not blocked by a car. I put them in the street behind the car I have parked on the street. Each time I call to complain, the trash is picked up. Why is the trash driver no longer collecting my trash?
