The engineering department has requested accident data from both intersections with crosswalks, and we are working with the developer to see if additional mitigation can be installed. We will respond again when we have additional information to share.

The inspector for Holding Village will be meeting with the developer to identify additional measures that can be taken to draw more attention to the one-way nature of S. Franklin. I will update again when I have the results of this meeting. I hope to have something to report by April 5th.

Could a stop sign be placed on S Franklin headed towards Rogers at the corner of Friendship Chapel?

Probably doesn’t help that there is a speed limit 35 sign right when you turn in off 98 before quickly changing to 25 one you pass the gas station (with a smaller less noticeable sign). Not saying it’s an excuse, but definitely doesn’t help the already chaotic and poorly planned feel of that entire Holding Village development.
